Montana is a coastal dweller from Western Australia and a dignified digger well-versed in any music curious, engaging and unwinding, fluctuating between many eras and styles. 80s synth pop, old school House, folk, AOR, ambient and trip hop all have a spot in their shows, often with a Balearic tinge, all combined tastefully (as a full-time pastry chef, she clearly has mastered the art of layering). With her show on TNP, “Desired paths”, she creates long, winding journeys to bask in and get moved by - meant for basking in the sun and moving around by car or train. These two hour microcosms leave the listener wanting more - just like her pastries (probably, we haven’t been to Perth to try them).
